Some encouraging news via the Globe:
Captain Paul Pierce (knee infection) and guard Rajon Rondo (hamstring) worked with the first unit at practice Tuesday and are expected to be available for Wednesday's visit to Miami.
But guard Eddie House and center Kendrick Perkins missed practice because of illness, joining Marquis Daniels (wrist) and Kevin Garnett (knee) on the sideline. House will likely miss Wednesday's game but Perkins was expected to board the team flight Tuesday afternoon, according to coach Doc Rivers.
Despite the hopeful returns of Pierce and Rondo, the hits just keep on coming for this group. Here's to a speedy recovery for Perk and Eddie.
Update: Via Celtics twitter
Perkins (food poisoning) made today's flight to Miami; House (flu) did not travel but may join the team tomorrow if he's feeling better.
