Jermaine O'Neal, who's battling a sore hamstring, did not participate in practice for the third straight day, but did get in some light shooting once the official session ended.
The C's are taking a slightly different approach into tomorrow night's preseason opener. The club will actually practice in Waltham in the afternoon, and will then head right to the arena in Manchester, New Hampshire.
"It'll be great, but I'm not going to play guys big minutes or anything," said Rivers. "We're going to practice [Wednesday] pretty hard, then go right to the bus and right to the arena. Some of the guys will be tired. That's fine. I'm not worried about that."
Doc elaborated on playing time, suggesting the starters will only play 8-15 minutes, while the likes of Luke Harangody and Semih Erden will see significant time.
