Rondo Travels With Celtics to Toronto

From Chris Forsberg of ESPN Boston:

Celtics guard Rajon Rondo underwent treatment for what the team termed a strained left hamstring Saturday afternoon and planned to travel with Boston north of the border, where the Green open a two-game road trip starting in Toronto Sunday (and wrapping up in Atlanta on Monday).

Rondo is listed as day-to-day and will be a game-time decision for Sunday's afternoon tilt with the Raptors.

Doc Rivers didn't hesitate to yank Rondo from the fourth quarter last night once he felt Rondo wasn't moving right. Doc takes a no-nonsense approach to injuries, so I'm willing to bet if he feels Rondo looks shaky at all at any point leading up to tomorrow's 1:00pm tip-off, he'll hold him out. Hamstring's can be tricky, so holding Rondo out as a precaution for a game or two might not even be a bad idea.
