The first bit of news isn't very surprising. Rajon Rondo won't play today against the Toronto Raptors as he nurses a strained left hamstring. There's also a good chance he won't play tomorrow against Atlanta, either. From the Globe:
"He's good, he's not playing," Rivers said. "He's feeling better. He felt pretty good, it's just a hamstring. There is a little something there. It's not bad, but with hamstrings -- if this was a playoff game, would he play? Yeah. But I look at it: we have back to backs and if we can probably not play him in both, we have three days off and it gives him a chance to get healthy. You just don't want to take any chances with that."
In a somewhat surprising move, Nate Robinson will get the start at point guard over Delonte West. Rivers stated that West's back is still giving him issues, which is why he gave Robinson the nod.
Rookie guard Avery Bradley is also active today, so he could see his first regular season minutes.
