Plenty of official reports will surface within the next hour or two, but news on the injury front and how it pertains to tomorrow's game against the Orlando Magic is beginning to surface via Twitter.
I'll probably overhaul this post once the official reports come out and quotes from Doc Rivers and some of the other players are released, but for now, I'll leave you with what has been delivered by A. Sherrod Blakely's Twitter:
- Rajon Rondo will not play tomorrow.
- Jermaine O'Neal should play tomorrow.
- Semih Erden has the flu and is listed as "questionable."
That's it for now, but check back later this afternoon when I'm sure more details will be available to us.
"He's not going to make it back in two weeks; it doesn't sound like it," Rivers said. "He ran the other day, but he only ran straight. That's not his game. We're going to wait. After the (Philadelphia) game, he voiced some frustration about it. I just said, 'you just have to be patient.'"
Also, this non-injury news just popped up on the Celtics' official Twitter page:
Ray Allen spoke over the telephone to 5,000 sailors aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln to pass along holiday wishes from the Celtics this AM.
