We are finally at the last game of what has been a disappointing season for the Celtics. After early talk of 72 wins for this team, they are now at just 50 wins. Even up until last night's game vs the Bulls, the Celtics were hoping to move up to the 3rd seed, but with that loss, they are now locked into the 4th seed. But, their opponent for the playoffs is still up in the air.

The Bucks are still locked into a battle with the Heat for the 5/6 spots in the East. If the Bucks can pull off a win and hope for an improbable loss by Miami to the Heat, they could move up into the 5th spot and face the Celtics rather than the Hawks in the first round. With the animosity between these two teams in recent games, it would be wise for Doc to sit his starters. Pierce, KG and Ray can use the rest for their aging legs. The Celtics can also ill afford an injury to Rondo or Perk in the final game of the season. Maybe the best reason for sitting Perk would be his 15 technical fouls. No use risking a 16th technical and a suspension in a meaningless game.

Since the Bucks will probably win this one, watch the Miami/Nets Game to see who we face in the playoffs.
