I'm not sure what this means, but we had as many Celtics beat writers as we did bloggers tonight. Maybe it means that the casual fans really don't care anymore. Maybe it means that I'm just not a very good (large) event organizer. Maybe it means that beat writers and bloggers have nothing else to do but commiserate about having nothing to write about. Regardless, I still had a wonderful time talking basketball with folks who are very passionate about the sport they cover.
I'm sure many of you would have loved to be there, but that's the internet for you. We can't sit around and talk together so we use the internet to do it virtually. That's pretty much why I started the blog in the first place - because none of my friends in Virginia could care less about my rambling rantings about the Celtics. I needed a community of like minded Celtics nuts.
So cheers to Donogus (CB Global Moderator), Paul Flannery (WEEI), Steve Bulpett (Herald), Jessica Camerato (CSNNE), Jay King (Celtics Town), and MrTripleDouble10 (Red's Army) for coming out and talking with a humble blogger like me for a few hours.
Note: If you see Steve Bulpett on twitter, you can either thank us or blame us - depending on the outcome.
