No New News On Shaq, But No Bad News Either

via Boston Herald, H/T our man Jay @ CelticsTown

NEW YORK — Shaquille O’Neal was present and in workout gear for the Celtics’ morning shootaround at Madison Square Garden today.

He was reticent to speak afterwards, saying, "I ain’t talking, bro. Players talk, and I’m trying to get back. That’s it."

Doc Rivers said earlier there is still a slight chance Shaq could play in Game 4 here Sunday.

More importantly, he added that O’Neal’s return is a matter of when, not if.

Well, that's nothing new, but nothing bad, so I'll take it. Also, Gary Washburn basically corroborated this story with this tweet:

Shaq is out for tonight but doubtful for Sun. Painful foot area was stretched during shootaround and Shaq didn't show discomfort

Also, Paul Flannery noted that Shaq is apparently 'not limping', but is 'incognito'.

Shaq walked out like a 39 year old man. I didn't notice a limp. He did introduce himself as Jermaine O'Neal to an usher.

Is it game time yet? (WHAT TIME IS IT?!)
