Lawrence Frank Interviewing With Golden State Warriors

We knew that Lawrence Frank was interviewing for the Houston position, but now it sounds like he's also looking at the Warriors job.

Brown finds Warriors job 'intriguing' - CBSSports.com

Also in the mix to replace Keith Smart as Warriors coach are Lakers assistants Brian Shaw and Chuck Person, Celtics assistant Lawrence Frank, and Hornets assistant Michael Malone, according to sources. The search is expected to gain momentum in the coming days. Frank also is one of three finalists for the Rockets’ head coaching position, along with Mavericks assistant Dwane Casey and former Timberwolves coach and GM Kevin McHale.

The article names Casey as the favorite for the Houston job.  So if Frank gets one of the head coaching jobs, I wonder who will be the next lead assistant in Boston.  Count me as one that would love to see McHale back in Boston.

Any of these guys that miss out on a head coaching job could do worse than to sign on as Doc's first mate.  They could follow the Frank plan of adding experience while keeping their name in the coaching circles.  One guy that would be interesting is Mike Brown.  He's a defensive minded coach who's obviously very familiar with the Celtics and would have some special insight into LeBron James.
