In Rajon Rondo's early years, his problem was mostly about consistency. He would flash amazing potential and gaudy stats in some games and then disappear for others. All that has changed with maturity and his development as one of the stars of the game. He's becoming a model of consistency. So much so that he's approaching and setting records.
Dating back to last year's regular season (not counting playoffs) Rajon Rondo has had 31 straight games of at least 10 assists. He's averaging 13.5 assists over that period. Want the details? Here's the full list (compiled by the fine folks in our forums):

He still needs 7 more games to pass John Stockton's 37 game streak back in 1989 and Magic Johnson sits on top of the all time streak list with 44 games between the '83 and '84 seasons.
He has, however, already broken one streak. The game officials originally gave Rondo just 10 assists against the Bucks on Saturday, but according to Grande that number was bumped up to 11. So Rajon now holds the record for most games with 11 or more assists.
Rajon Rondo's been given an assist they missed in Milwaukee. That makes 11 for the game and thus a new NBA record 28 straight games of 11+.

Stockton was the one that held that record with 27 in a row. It is only fitting that the next game is against the Utah Jazz (and that the first game of the streak was against the Lakers).
Let us just sit back and soak in the fact that Rondo is now sitting in the record books next to names like John Stockton and Magic Johnson. Wow.
