It was a scary moment for a guy that has had more than his share of scary moments, but thankfully it sounds like he'll be ok.
Green's injury doesn't appear serious
A team official said Green suffered a bruised left cheek along with a few chipped teeth. As far as his availability for the C's Christmas Day game against Brooklyn, that remains unclear.
Marquis Daniels may have been the most concerned at that moment as it was eerily similar to the scene when he went down hard a few years ago with his own scary injury.
Green's injury brings back memories for Daniels
The swingman stayed down on the parquet as medical staff attended to him, while the Boston Celtics looked on in concern and Daniels sat anxiously on the Milwaukee Bucks bench worried about his former teammate. "I just saw him laying down there," Daniels told CSNNE.com. "I knew it had to be bad. Jeff's a pretty tough guy. I just hope he can recover from it soon."
Agreed. Jeff's gone through too much to have something like this. Hoping for a quick recovery - though I also hope he takes whatever time he needs.
