Woe is us. Earlier this season the Celtics struggled to win two games against the horrible Washington Wizards. Wait, what's that you say?
Heat vs. Wizards 2012 results: Lowly Washington stuns Miami, 105-101 - SBNation.com
Behind 22 points from Jordan Crawford, the Wizards dealt a surprising loss to the Heat, 105-101, at the Verizon Center. LeBron James triple-doubled for the first time this season with 26 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists, but missed a potentially game-winning 3-pointer with 18 seconds left in the game, and a would-be game-tying 3-pointer with four seconds on the clock.
HAAAAA ha ha ha ha ha ha ha haaaaaaaaa.
Oh man, that felt good. Anyway, as I was saying. I hate when the Celtics give up big leads. Huh? You want to tell me something else?
Douglas leads Rockets over Lakers 107-105 - NBA - Yahoo! Sports
Toney Douglas had a season-high 22 points and Greg Smith added a career-best 21 to help the Houston Rockets overcome a tough outing by James Harden and rally for a 107-105 win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night. The Lakers had a 13-point lead with less than 10 minutes to go. But Houston used two big runs, including a 9-2 spurt capped by a 3-pointer from Douglas to take its first lead of the game—100-99—with about 2 1/2 minutes left.
Pppppppffffffffffffttttttttttttttttt. (shouldn't have taken that sip of water before reading that - now I need a new monitor)
In other schadenfreude related news, the Lakers have "a Dwight Howard problem" and might be looking to trade Pau Gasol ...again. Good times.
Thank you NBA. It has been a hard week and I needed that.
