After being up by 18 points in the first half, the Celtics let the Heat pull within 1 in the 3rd quarter before finishing off Miami (behind some hot shooting by Kevin Garnett).
- Celtics shot at a blistering pace to take the early lead. You knew that would cool off after a while, but it was still impressive.
- LeBron James and the Heat seemed to figure something out in the 2nd and 3rd quarters but the Celtics put the clamps down and forced them into bad or rushed shots down the stretch - in particular the semi-desperate 3 pointer by James with under a minute left.
- Those three consecutive buckets by KG in the 4th were a thing of beauty.
- Another day, another 15 dimes for Rondo. Added 18 points but ONLY got 4 rebounds, so no triple double this time.
- Oh yeah, and that Paul Pierce had a pretty sweet game as well.
- If we meet the Heat in the playoffs, it won't be easy, but we will not be afraid. Bring it on.
