The Knicks didn't miss a single shot all night. Ok, that's not true, that would be a record or something, but it felt that way. Paul Pierce did everything he could to will this team back from 20 points down, but he couldn't score enough to overcome the onslaught of shots from the Knicks.
- The Celtics went 501 games without a 40 point scorer, but Paul Pierce declared "I'm a man, I'm 40!" and finished with 43
- Rajon Rondo got his 10+ assists. He also got his bi-weekly "that looked like it hurt" fall. He kept playing but had to get a heating pad on it and looked to be in some real discomfort. Hope that doesn't linger.
- According to Grande, the Celtics haven't allowed anyone to make 7 three pointers against us all year. Tonight both J.R. Smith and Steve Novak did it.
- Oh yeah, and the Knicks bench outscored ours 55-2. Yup.
And that's all I have to say about that.
