#CelticsTalk: #Celtics Greg Stiemsma added to Team USA select team that will compete vs Team USA national team next month in Las Vegas.

We're all basking in Game 5 glory right now, but here's a little honor that shouldn't go unnoticed. Greg Stiemsma was added to Team USA's Select Team. Stiemer was part of the Pan American Games last summer and USA Basketball was committed to adding two players from that bronze medal team. Even still, it's quite the honor for the 26-year-old Celtic rookie. He joins a team featuring Kyrie Irving, Jeremy Lin, John Wall, Kawhi Leonard, DeJuan Blair, DeMarcus Cousins, DeMar DeRozan, Derrick Favors, Gordon Hayward, Paul George, Taj Gibson and Klay Thompson. They'll train with Team USA in July. We all know what Greg brings to the table: defense. In the international game, I'd hate to face him as the anchor in a 2-3 zone. I can't wait to see Stiemsma one lazy Sunday afternoon this summer when ESPN2 decides to run a Team USA scrimmage and he blocks Kobe, Wade, Lebron, and Dwight Howard.
