The Celtics signed Dionte Christmas to a non-guaranteed contract to come to training camp and fight for a spot on the roster.
Love hearing this for the guy. He certainly played himself into a camp invite contract. Space is a little crowded at the 2 guard spot for Boston, but when a guy can play, he can play. It sounds like he left more money on the table from overseas teams looking to sign him, but the allure of the NBA was calling and he will look to answer in the Fall.

Sounds like its a partially guaranteed deal, but Christmas is a Celtic.

Christmas will get a partial guarantee. ... Even if he makes C's and gets full year's salary, he's leaving Euro money on the table.
