I'm sure all of this has been properly linked to by FLCelticsFan and I know that other blogs and publications have covered most of these nuggets from the last few days, but I thought I'd gather a few of them together and drop them in one post for you to dissect, enjoy, and discuss.
Keeping it Real with Jeff Green – Heels to Hoops
"I feel awesome. I actually feel a lot better than I did prior to the surgery. It was a blessing, and I'm doing better now."
Monday Links: An Expert's Take On JaJuan Johnson - The Dream Shake (you may recognize the "expert" here - note my sarcastic quotations on the expert label)
Essentially he has to focus on maximizing his length and minimizing his lack of bulk. If I had to project his career, I'd hope for an upside of "solid rotation" guy who plays a finesse game. On a good team he could fill in well off the bench. On a bad team he might not have much value except as a trade chip.
Kevin Garnett barred from buying minority interest in AS Roma | Ball Don't Lie - Yahoo! Sports
Kevin Garnett doesn't have LeBron's popularity, but he is a bona fide soccer fan. As he enters the twilight of his career, KG is looking for other opportunity sports. Monday Notebook: Garnett and Rondo Hang With Snoop Dogg
We haven’t heard or seen much of Rajon Rondo and Kevin Garnett this summer publicily, but the two stars were out and about north of the border over the weekend, hanging out with the one and only Snoop Lion, (formerly known as Snoop Dogg, he changed his name last week, that’s all I know). Lion had the above photo posted on his Facebook page while at the OVO Fest a musical festival in Toronto, which was headlined by Drake. I wonder (and hope) if KG continues to call Rondo shorty while hanging out with him away from the locker room.
Gotta love the summer.
