Jared Sullinger suspended one-game by team

The Boston Celtics have suspended Sully for Wednesday's opener in Toronto stemming from the domestic violence charges this summer.

Even though the charges were eventually dismissed, the team announced today that Sullinger will sit out one game. Per the press release:

"Jared's case was dismissed yesterday in Waltham District Court," said Celtics President of Basketball Operations Danny Ainge. "While we are satisfied that this was the correct ruling, we are suspending Jared for one game because he failed to meet the high expectations we have for all Celtics employees."

He'll be available for Boston's home opener against the Bucks on November 1st.
