In 2004, two websites that many of you visit everyday were launched. Facebook and CelticsBlog. Back in 2004, I was engaged to be married, now I have two wonderful children, ages 2 and 4. So much has happened in 9 years that it is impossible to write down and do it any justice. I'm so thankful for all of you, that I don't think I can do that any justice either (but I'll try).
But please know, from the bottom of my heart, I am so very grateful for all of you. I thank the readers who were there from the start (hi Master PO!) for sticking with us as the site grew from "local bar" feel, to a megalopolis. Thank you longtime readers for sticking with me as my writing style developed and grew. Thank you recent readers and lurkers for finding this site and jumping into the action. Thank you Mods, Authors, and other members of the staff for keeping this place running with tireless, thankless work every day.
We've come a long way - feel free to check out the Quick History of CelticsBlog here - but I'm as energized and excited as ever to keep looking to the future. Thank you again, for sharing in this journey with me.
Also: Feel free to share your favorite moments from the last 9 years and how you might have experienced those moments here on CelticsBlog. I'd love to hear some stories. (Like, where were you when you heard about the KG trade? Or the return of Antoine Walker? Or if you are new, how you found out about the site.)
Cheers and God bless.
