Well, if you were looking for assurances or commitments from Doc Rivers, you have at least a little longer to wait.

Boston Celtics rumors 2013: Doc Rivers ' | masslive.com

Boston Celtics head coach Doc Rivers still hasn't decided whether to return for another season, according to the Orlando Sentinel. The newspaper's George Diaz, who sat down with Rivers for breakfast Thursday in Winter Park, Fla., reported just one line about the coach's future: "...Doc is still mulling over his options for next season..."

That's all he said on the matter, but he did break down some of the Finals ...if you care.

Doc Rivers says the Heat will beat the Spurs in the NBA Finals if they get into an open court game

"I love San Antonio because I love Pop [coach Gregg Charles Popovich] and know that crew but it’s going to be a hard series and a great series to watch," he said. "San Antonio’s team play and ball movement can really affect Miami. The only thing is that San Antonio defensively is not like Indiana. And if you allow Miami to get in the open court, it can go quick. You just can’t. We almost beat them during their winning streak and we ran that whole game, and we stopped them from running until the fourth quarter. Once they started running, if you get in a track meet with Miami and it’s the Olympics, they’re going to win a gold medal. If you get in a basketball game with Miami you have a chance to win. They have the sprinters."
