Lots of ex-Celtics in ESPN's "Bottom 100" rankings

"Why can't we get guys like that?" - Bob Lobel

ESPN annually publishes a listing of the top 500 players in the NBA.  It is good fodder for discussion but it doesn't really mean all that much in the long run.  They started off their list by posting the "bottom 100" players.  It happens to include quite a few ex-Boston Celtics.  Read into that what you will.

There's Fab Melo at 499, next to last and just above Royce White.  There's Shavlik Randolph at 467 which I think is a bit low considering that DJ White is ranked all the way up at 416.  Kris Joseph ranked 452.  Chris Wilcox bookends the list at number 401.

Some current Celtics include rookies Phil Pressey (439), Vitor Faverani (481) and Donte Greene (415).  Hopefully this year will give them amble opportunities to raise that rank for next summer.

Other ex-Celtics of note include Chris Johnson (425), Ryan Hollins (426), Sasha Pavlovic (434), Keyon Dooling (442), Jason Collins (448) and Jarvis Varnado (456).

Here's the full list. Enjoy the debates.
