The Celtics rookies all played for the Red Claws tonight.
Smart joins 2 other Celtics rookies in D-League tonight | Comcast SportsNet - CSNNE.com
All three of Boston's rookies - Marcus Smart, Dwight Powell and James Young - have been assigned to the D-League squad, the Maine Red Claws, and will play in their game tonight in Portland.
As usual, James Young owned the D-League competition. Man, he can shoot 3's can't he? There aren't a lot of wing minutes on the Celtics to go around, but if anyone goes down, I could see him out there lofting treys for some stretches.
James Young finished with 31 points, 9 rebs, 3 asst. Dwight Powell 21 points, 4 rebs, and Marcus Smart 6 points, 5 rebs, 7 asst. @Celtics

Marcus Smart was obviously there to shake some of the rust off from his ankle injury and gain some confidence in his body. I'm sure all 3 will be back with the Celtics very quickly.
