Avery Bradley suffering from bone bruise, could be out two more weeks

Mark Murphy of the Herald is reporting that Avery Bradley's latest MRI revealed a bone bruise rather than a sprained ankle.

To-MAY-to, to-MAH-to.  The MRI came back negative, but Ainge is speculating that AB could be out another two weeks:

"Avery had a good workout today," said Ainge. "The MRI showed that things are way better, and he can increase his workload. He's doing good. It's just a bone bruise with inflammation in his ankle."

That's potentially another 8-9 games with 21 left on the schedule.  Some may applaud this move as a masterstroke in the art of tanking, but I have this moving forward.  For me, one of the biggest question marks with Rondo's return would be whether or not they could rekindle the chemistry they had at the end of the 2012 season.  The Celtics finished the season at 14-5 and their spark ignited that memorable run to Game 7 against the Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals.  Now, we're talking about just a dozen games to see how those two gel.  Will that be enough for Brad Stevens,  and more importantly Danny Ainge, to evaluate whether or not they should extend a qualifying offer to Bradley and even match it later this summer?
