The hardest part about blogging is finding new wrinkles and stories, which makes it tough to always bring something new to the table. There is nothing wrong with rehashing stories that everyone else is writing about, but personally, I have always found new experiences to be the best experiences. There's a childlike satisfaction I feel when I write my "original" articles compared to the ones that have been done 100 times before. But as we grow older, these moments of infinity are harder and harder to come by, and the same goes for writing. I know I'll never be able to feel that feeling with each article I write, but if I can maximize it, then I'll feel personal satisfaction, and that's what matters to me.

Being patient. Keeping the passion burning. CLNS Radio has a fairly large staff of columnists and on-air personalities. It's difficult to always stay positive and motivational for them. Other than that, I honestly do what I love to do! It's not often that many people can say that they love their work; I am proud to say that I am one of the few people that can. I am totally in-love with my work.

It's time consuming, and there's not as much payoff as some people might think. I know we all work hard at doing what we do for our sites, but we're not exactly getting paid very well for it. There may be some exceptions, but it's tough to do full time. That's especially true the older you get. When you're a grown up who runs a blog, the desire to actually get paid and live a comfortable life tends to take up more of your time.

Honestly, it's not hard at all. In this day and age, the speed and access of which information is available is awesome. With the help of beat writers tweeting out quotes real time and websites providing up-to-the-minute stats and video, bloggers have everything at their fingertips. If I'm nitpicking, I just wish I could tap Danny Ainge's cell phone. Better yet, I just wish I had his number. I've got a few trades to run by him.
