Scroll down to #4 on J. Michael's Morning Tip report and you'll find this tidbit on Brandan Wright:

Boston Celtics president Danny Ainge has informed the 6-10 center that he's on the block and should expect to be on another team. That's why Wright had a head-scratching DNP this week on a team that could use his skill set.

Many fans were disappointed in the haul Ainge got after trading away Rajon Rondo, but rest assured, Trader Danny isn't done yet.  The difficulty in looking for a deal for Wright is that he can only be combined in a multi-player deal two months after the Mavericks trade.  However, he can be dealt straight up before then and with a $5M expiring contract, that could happen ahead of the deadline.  Michael reports that the Wizards might be interested and they have a few players like Andre Miller and Kevin Seraphin that could be packaged with a draft pick if Ainge is interested.

Wright's a free agent this summer so I can see Danny's interest in dealing him rather than trying to use him as a rim protector.  As Michael points out, he's a great rim runner like Tyson Chandler in the pick-and-roll, but the Celtics don't exactly have a pick-and-roll point guard on the roster.

Michael also has news on the future of Jameer Nelson:

If Jameer Nelson gets bought of his contract, he could end up in a Wizards uniform. Nelson was part of the deal for Rondo that sent him from Dallas to Boston. The Wizards will be in hot pursuit because he's experienced and the type of combo guard they covet most for the open roster spot. This is the most likely of all the scenarios. Nelson is expected to negotiate a buyout.

He's clamored for more minutes recently and tonight, he's getting another healthy inactive.  He really does deserve to be on a contender after giving Dallas a discount for his services and then getting promptly traded to a rebuilding team.
