The build up to Kobe Bryant's final game created a circus environment that the Celtics just couldn't corral in the end. With Kobe only shooting 5-of-18 for 15 points and 11 rebounds, it was the Lakers young players that stepped up in his void. Jordan Clarkson lead the team with 24 with D'Angelo Russell and Julius Randle finishing with 16 and 15 respectively. Los Angeles' future Big Three looked great at the Garden whereas none of Boston's young core stepped up. Marcus Smart, who arrived at shootaround late due to a flat tire, played sparingly in the first half and finished with 4 points in 11 minutes. Kelly Olynyk and Jared Sullinger had 12 points combined. The Celtics have a home-and-home with the Brooklyn Nets next.
