With the 13th pick in the CelticsBlog community mock draft, the Phoenix Suns select...Kelly Oubre.
This definitely isn't the choice I would've made if I were the Suns, but I understand the logic. Oubre is a young player with a lot of upside and they don't necessarily need a player who can make a year one impact. P.J. Tucker is also getting old and Oubre could eventually fill his shoes
The next pick goes to the Oklahoma City Thunder. They don't need a whole lot at all, but Kevin Durant is entering a contract year and they need to keep him happy to increase their chances of keeping him. Should they go for a player that can help them now or should they prepare for the post-KD era and draft the player with the most upside? Or maybe there is a player available that fills both of those requirements.
Who would you pick for the Thunder?
