With the seventh pick in the CelticsBlog community mock draft, the Denver Nuggets select...Kristaps Porzingis.
The Nuggets are on the verge of potentially hitting the restart button on the roster and they reportedly met with Mike D'Antoni, who could bring a whole new flavor to the organization. Porzingis would fit in nicely in D'Antoni's fast-paced style of play, since he can stretch the floor and he excels in transition.
The next pick goes to the Detroit Pistons. They might lose Greg Monroe in free agency, but they could use a floor stretching power forward anyway. Stan Van Gundy made good use of them in his career in Orlando, but hasn't had one with the Pistons -- heck, he said sayonara to Josh Smith mid-season. But they also need shooting, regardless of the position, and there is plenty of that talent here.
Who would you pick for the Pistons?
