Things are moving fast in NBA free agency. After the Boston Celtics missed out on many of the top players, they made their first splash of the summer by signing former Toronto Raptors big man Amir Johnson. And only minutes later they re-upped with forward Jonas Jerebko.
Free agent forward Amir Johnson has agreed to a deal with the Boston Celtics, league source tells Yahoo Sports.

Johnson is a long, athletic big man who is only just 28-years-old and entering the prime of his career. According to Woj, he signed for 2-years, $24 million total. He's a good rebounder, a solid shot blocker, and does many of the "little things" on defense. He's capable of hitting open spot up three-pointers as well. He is certainly an upgrade over Brandon Bass in most categories.
Jonas Jerebko to Boston on a two-year, $10 million deal, I'm told.

The return of the Swedish Larry Bird will delight Celtics fans and he came on a bargain contract, worth just $5 million annually.
