A Celtics Star Wars Meme post just for fun

The Force is strong with this one.

The release of Rouge One seems like a good enough excuse for me to geek out on my love for Star Wars. I loved the films as a kid, enjoyed the Expanded Universe books in college, forgave Lucas for the Prequels, and I’ve been enjoying sharing the stories with my children.

I think sometimes we can get a little too wrapped up in how seriously we take sports and it is a good idea to step back and have a little fun with it. So I thought I’d dedicate some Star Wars memes to various Celtics. Hope you enjoy.

Let’s start with an easy Dedicating this one to Marcus Smart.

Don’t worry Marcus, at least you’ve got the fake dying flopping act down pat.

Next one is for Jaylen Brown, who doesn’t seem to know yet what to do with the amazing skills he’s got.

You recognize that face Obie Wan is making because you’ve seen Brad Stevens make it.

I wish the following meme was true about Al Horford and Isaiah Thomas.

If those two can stay healthy at the same time for a prolonged period of time they are going to be a Force to be reckoned with.

Here’s one for Jae Crowder. He’s just a lovable beast and that’s all there is to it.

This next one is a bit of a stretch, but let’s just go with it. Avery Bradley is the bridge from the older generation (KG, Pierce, Ray, Rondo, Darth Vader, Snape?) and this next generation (Smart, Bradley, Rozier, etc.).

I’m going to dedicate this next one to the much maligned Tyler Zeller. Don’t let angry fans get you down Tyler.

In fact, any Celtics haters can take heed. Once we get fully healthy, things are going to start rollin’ in the right direction.

Lastly, if you ever want to really blow a nerd’s mind, just show them this pic.

Enjoy Rogue One and the Celtics. Cheers.
