Isaiah Thomas Twitter question and answer session

As he does, Isaiah Thomas took to the good people of Twitter on a Friday night for inquiries on his life in and outside basketball. His responses, per usual, were awesome.

For anybody who stayed in on a Friday night (guilty) to watch the Celtics upend the Kings in thrilling fashion, Isaiah Thomas had a gift for all on Twitter off his 20 point performance. Another Twitter Q&A session. From the silly to the philosophical, he hit on it all.

Right away a screaming fastball came flying across the plate, but Thomas was ready with the right answer. He was married recently in Seattle and his two sons are absolutely awesome. If you didn’t catch them during the playoffs, they know Isaiah “is the greatest basketball player.”

Luckily there’s still plenty of this to go around among some basketball fans.

Be on the lookout. Washington, Thomas’ alma mater is currently fourth in the AP poll.

This will be entertaining. Off his offseason wrist surgery it was the San Francisco bay area who was served the first can of whooping via Thomas in his return to the court. What their fate will be this summer is scary to think about.

Goes without saying. Fitting on the night the Kings are in town. By the way, Thomas looks weird in purple all these years later. Him and Cousins were joking around during an instant replay review, their relationship is key to whether or not the latter ever plays a game in green. Needless to say the Kings have not picked a better player since they picked Thomas last.

This would be on replay forever. Luckily he’s giving it a chance at least.

He said it first. But when that time comes the Celtics are going to have to divvy out the enormous value he’s provided them in cold hard cash. If they don’t, someone will. At this point it does feel like he’s become a franchise face, the number four jerseys are present across the TD Garden on a nightly basis. It feels inevitable, but it’s way too early to tell. They couldn’t sign him in free agency, but once he finally got here he learned what the atmosphere around the team truly is like. Stinks that it works that way, the love is real.

I still don’t know if this is a real thing or not. But let’s make it happen.

Nobody!

It’s never too early to start talking about the NBA Draft. Danny Ainge loves guards. Could there be another former Washington star wearing green next year?

It’s never too early to start talking about the NBA Draft. Danny Ainge loves guards. Could there be another Thomas wearing green over a decade from now?

Let’s hope the Gerald Green experiment takes a turn for the better before the season ends. The Thomas and Green reunited dynamic could have been an awesome story.

Like that, it’s on to the next one. The rest of Thomas’ responses can be read in full here. The C’s really got this guy for Marcus Thornton and a Cleveland pick. It’s still mindblowing to this day.
