Boston Celtics 2016 NBA Draft Pick Tracker: Updated on April 10

It's a good time to be a Boston Celtics fan. The Cs are a thriving playoff team, and they're in a prime position to make an impactful move this summer. But they'll need some lottery luck for their war chest of picks to be as valuable as it can be.

On Saturday...

• The Suns beat the Pelicans. That's incredible, since the Brooklyn pick now has the third-best odds.
• The Grizzlies lost to the Warriors and the Blazers lost to the Timberwolves. That's double bad, since the Mavericks are racing up the standings.

If the season ended on the morning of April 8, the Celtics would have the 3rd-best lottery odds, and the following picks: 16th, 23rd, 31st, 35th, 46th, 51st, and 58th.

Nets pick (unprotected, currently 3rd-best odds)

The Nets pick has an 15.6% chance of being No. 1 and a 46.9% chance of landing in the top 3. Brooklyn is one half game ahead of the Suns (4th spot). If the Nets lose out, they'll finish with the third-best odds. Celtics fans should root for the Nets to lose and the Suns to win. Here are the remaining games with implications on the Nets pick:

Mavs pick (Top-7 protected, currently 16th)

The Mavs are the 7th seed and they're three games ahead of the Rockets (9th seed). Celtics fans should root for the Mavs to lose, and the Rockets, Jazz, Blazers, and Grizzlies to win. The Mavs trail the Blazers by one game and Grizzlies by one half game. The Mavs need to finish 0-3 and the Jazz and Rockets both need to go 3-0 for the Mavs to miss the playoffs. Here are remaining games with implications on the Mavs pick:

Celtics pick (currently 23rd)

The Celtics are tied as the 4th seed in the East. They're ahead by one half game over Miami and Charlotte.
