If you've ever been to a Boston Celtics home game that ended in a blowout during the Big 3 era, then you're familiar with "Gino," the dancing maniac from American Bandstand that never failed to get the TD Garden up dancing. Gino Time become a fixture at games, the new victory cigar, and it'll be forever be something fans cherish.
With the Celtics about to take on the Hawks in a new era of Celtics basketball, our own Kyle George takes a look back at Gino with his documentary Finding Gino. The documentary features commentary from Celtics legend Kevin Garnett, CLNS Radio's Jared Weiss, Reds Army's John Karalis, and "Celtics super fans" from TD Garden.
"[Gino] has all the elements of why videos go viral," said Karalis. "If you go to a game and you've been through Gino Time, and you bring a friend and you hear that music, that's when you say, 'look at this, it's so awesome.'"
