Once again, everyone knew that the Celtics didn't have room on their roster for 8 draft picks. So far, they've only drafted one guy (Jaylen Brown) that figures to be on the roster next season. Their other two first rounders were used on draft-and-stash guys. Now they've traded their 2 highest second round picks for a future first rounder.

A first rounder is good value for a couple of 2nd rounders, but it seemed to me that Davis was a good value for where he slipped in the draft. I wonder if the Celtics will regret not just picking him.
