One looming decision that Danny Ainge has is whether or not to exercise the team options on Amir Johnson and Jonas Jerbko. The date was formerly July 3rd (and there was speculation that the team would have to decide by tonight in order to allow for them to clear waivers), but now it has been moved back to July 7th.
Celtics have agreed to amend the guarantee date for both Amir Johnson and Jonas Jerebko to July 7 instead of July 3, per source.

This gives the Celtics more time to meet with Kevin Durant and Al Horford and whatever other free agents they have on their list and still have the option to clear enough cap room to fit everyone in. If the cap room isn't needed, then the Celtics can hang on to Amir and/or Jonas for another year.
