Consider this a reverse mailbag. I want to hear from you. I’m just here to start the conversation going. Give us your favorite player in the NBA today that doesn’t play for the Celtics.
To make things more interesting, let’s say that it can’t be a player that ever played for the Celtics. So my obvious answer of Paul Pierce gets eliminated, and I have to think a bit harder.
I guess personally I’d have to go with Steph Curry. He’s obviously great, but I like his unique style and I’m enjoying the way that he’s legitimately changing the game of basketball.
In the non-star category, I kinda dig Steven Adams. I remember that Brian Scalabrine wanted the Celtics to draft him. He’s good at his role, he doesn’t back down from anyone, he’s got a fun Kiwi accent, and he kinda reminds me of Chewbacca.
So let’s hear it from you. Who’s your favorite non-Celtics player?
