CelticsBlog help wanted: Comments Moderators

CelticsBlog is a big place these days. We have a large staff of authors, a whole forums community, and a growing FanPost community. We also have the luxury of an active and engaged community of people who like to comment on the front page articles.

I believe strongly in creating an atmosphere where people feel welcome and free to express their opinions. I stress respectful behavior and a family friendly community. To do so, we have to have people that keep an eye on things.

On staff we have a couple of moderators a few others (like myself) who try to help out. However, I don’t think we have enough coverage and that’s why I’m looking to you.

If you engage in the community by participating in the comments frequently, I’d like to challenge you to take on a little bit of responsibility and help to make that community stronger by applying to be a moderator.

The position isn’t paid, people may get mad at you, and it is largely a thankless job. But I’ll thank you (when I think to) and you’ll be helping make CelticsBlog a better place. So please consider it and apply below.
