Celtic Sunrise: Who starts next year?

Boston is getting a big addition next year in Gordon Hayward.

I thought I’d kick off a topic of discussion this morning. Seeing Hayward’s picture at the top of the blog got me to thinking about next year. Specifically the starting lineup.

Kyrie Irving and Al Horford are written down with permanent marker. The 3 other positions are up for debate though.

In theory the Celtics will have an embarrassment of riches from the wing position. Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, and Gordon Hayward all could be small forwards in the traditional sense of the word. Who do you start and who goes to the bench? Or do you start all 3 and kick traditional positions right out the window?

Obviously a lot can change between now and next season. Players can progress or regress or get hurt (as we’ve found out). And who’s to say that Danny Ainge doesn’t pull off yet another huge trade?

Still, it is fun to think about how this team will look once we get our All Star wing back. So feel free to get creative and tell us who will be the starters next season.
