Not Jae Crowder or IT, the jerseys. While it’s great to see some old familiar faces back in Celtics’ green (and gray), those Parquet Pride shirseys were thankfully retired when the NBA switched from Adidas to Nike last summer.
However, it looks like Boston will still be adopting the parquet theme for their City Edition uniforms that will drop in 2018. Twitter user @JayTeeP216 was quick to snap a couple of screenshots of the new jerseys before NBA2K18 took down the update:

As our old friend Jared Weiss notes, that’s Isaiah Thomas’ old jersey number. Also, the irony isn’t lost on me that the Clippers and Grizzlies are also featured in the above pic, teams whose first round draft picks the Celtics could potentially own own in 2019. I’m no fashion critic, but I like them. They’re simple and clean and the parquet is a nice touch. More importantly, they’re sleeveless.
