Morris is expected to return tomorrow for the second half of Boston’s back-to-back against the Houston Rockets as he continues to rehab his left knee. Jaylen Brown said that he possibly strained some ligaments in his MCL after a collision with Markieff Morris Monday night, and Marcus Smart will start in his place tonight.
Ojeleye hurt his back after taking a hard fall against Chicago last Saturday following a failed dunk attempt. This will be the rookie’s second missed game following the injury.
The Celtics tip off in Charlotte against the Hornets at 7 p.m. EST as they continue to play through a brutal stretch of games in the month of December.
