The Maine Red Claws announced Thursday that they completed a trade with the Northern Arizona Suns to acquire Anthony Bennett.

Bennett was the first pick in the 2013 NBA Draft made by the Cleveland Cavaliers, and has played for four different teams over the course of four seasons in the NBA. He has career averages of 4.4 points and 3.1 rebounds while posting a 39.25 field goal percentage, and last played for the Brooklyn Nets during the 2016-17 season.
In 14 games with Northern Arizona, he is averaging 11.7 points and 5.6 rebounds per game, shooting 44% from three and over 54% from the floor. The Red Claws’ next games are tonight against Grand Rapids and then again on December 31st against Lakeland, which you can watch on Twitch.
