Jaylen Brown(knee) trending towards playing Sunday vs Nets

Jaylen Brown says he will play Sunday against the Brooklyn Nets after missing two games with a knee injury

NBA: Boston Celtics at Indiana Pacers Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

Jaylen Brown told reporters Saturday that he is “trending towards playing” Sunday against the Brooklyn Nets.

Brown injured his knee on Christmas when the Celtics lost to the Washington Wizards, after colliding with Markieff Morris. Brown also said that he might wear a brace even though he doesn’t want to. Brown has missed the last two games for Boston as they defeated Charlotte and Houston on consecutive nights, and hopes to learn from what happened last Monday.

The Celtics tip off against the Nets at 5:30 EST in TD Garden for their last game of the 2017 calendar year.
