The Boston Celtics announced Wednesday that forward Marcus Morris will miss tonight’s game against the Dallas Mavericks due to knee rehabilitation.

Morris missed the first eight games of the regular season with soreness in his left knee, and is still in the process of getting back to full strength. Brad Stevens has said that he is gradually lifting Morris’ minutes restriction, but Boston has remained cautious in their approach to the injury.

The Celtics tip off against the Mavericks at 7:30 p.m. EST, and will likely keep Aron Baynes in the starting lineup, with Morris sidelined, Celtics will need their second unit players to step up without their go-to scoring option.
