Consider this your one stop shop for any minor rumblings, rumors, and updates. If we see something big drop, we’ll try to get a post up as soon as possible to keep you informed.
Steve Bulpett continues to report that the Celtics are hoping for bigger deals but happy to revert to smaller ones if they can’t find the right price.
Beyond getting a primary talent that would fit more with the sustainable plan, the Celtics could also work the edges for a short-term gain. There was talk that Dallas center Andrew Bogut would be a good addition for the remainder of the season as a rental, but while he’s likely to be moved, don’t expect it to be to Boston.
If the Celts do make a move of this type, look for it to be more in the JaMychal Green or P.J. Tucker range.
JaMychal Green is a new name that we haven’t heard yet.
A name that we’ve heard all too often is Jahlil Okafor. Hoopshype’s Alex Kennedy throws the Celtics into a list of teams that could make a move for him.
The Portland Trail Blazers, Chicago Bulls, Indiana Pacers, Boston Celtics and Sacramento Kings are among the teams that have been linked to Okafor, according to sources. The belief among executives is that Philadelphia is just weighing the different trade offers at this point and will execute a deal soon.
From the sounds of things, the Celtics are unwilling to move a first rounder for any of these minor deals.
As I said Tues, if Cs don't get big hit, they've identified group of guys who could provide bench help but don't plan to offer a 1st-rd pick

The Celtics do have a number of 2nd round picks that they can dangle to get something small done.
