You are a passionate Celtics fan. I can tell because it is nearly August and you are still here. Most likely reading every day. But you haven’t created an account yet, have you?

You can see that people have a grand time discussing these topics in the comments below. You can see some wonderful opinions, some ...less informed ones, and everything in between. But you haven’t jumped in and added your own two cents yet. Why not?

Is it because you don’t like comments sections and avoid them because you think they always devolve into petty shouting matches? Well, we have moderators and a few golden rules (treat each other with respect and keep things PG13). The mods don’t catch everything, but they are trying to keep things civil in order to create a flame-war-free zone to express and exchange opinions. In short, we have a great community and I think that you could add to it.

Are you not signing up because you have dreams of being a big-time blogger and putting me out of business? Well, a good place to start would be to join the blog and start writing FanPosts. We now have a dedicated moderator for the FanPost section and he’s been adding selected posts to the Featured FanPost section. Future writers get practice and visibility. Not to mention instant feedback from the best community of fans anywhere (in my humble opinion).

Or are you still just lurking because you are lazy? Or are you just too good for us? I mean, the Lakers blog still has room if you like. (yup, I went there)

I think you are out of excuses. So sign up, introduce yourself, and let your voice be heard. (or at least just say “hi”)
