Getting in the mix.....

The sticking point on Irvin to Phoenix seems to be Jackson. Maybe this trade will work Sun's, Cavs, Celtics.

To Boston:

Cleveland 1st 2021, Phoenix 2nd 2019, 2022

To Phoenix:

K. Irvin, J. R. Smith, J. Crowder

To Cleveland:

T. Chandler, B. Knight, T. Ullis, J. Jackson.

Or

Sun's, Cavs, Celtics. B

To Boston:

Pheonix 1st 2020 (protected 1-14, 2021 1-10, 2022-1-3,2023 unprotected) Cleveland 1st 2022.

To Pheonix:

K. Irvin, J. R. Smith

To Cleveland;

T. Chandler, J. Crowder, B. Knight, T. Ullis, 2018 Celtics

Both trades have some pros and cons.

Trade A, gives Cleveland one potential great player- Jackson. Pheonix does much better- short term. But all Irvin and Crowder do us assure that get swept in the first round, if they make the playoffs.

Trade B may make Cleveland a better team in the short term. But will the Sun's pony up a first to be able to keep Jackson. The 2019 second could be be used with the Celtics, Clippers and Grizlies picks to move up in 2019.

In either case Pheonix looks great but Irvin can Bolt in two years.

Both are based on the assumption that Crowder becomes B. Bass, as Hayward, Tatum, Brown all play the same position.
