Which Celtics player isn’t remembered enough?

New, comments

It is easy to get lost in the shuffle in this franchise.

Dennis Johnson

Continuing the History Week discussion topics.

There are so many Celtics legends that it is easy to glaze over or overlook some of them. Cedric Maxwell comes to mind. Even though he was one of the original “Big 3” I could make a case that Robert Parish was unfairly an afterthought.

My personal pick for this category, though, is Dennis Johnson. DJ’s shine was dimmed by the relative brightness of the stars surrounding him, but he was highly valued by Larry Bird and the rest of his teammates.

Who is your pick for the most under-appreciated and too-often-neglected Celtic in history?
