Why the Celtics won't win a title in the next 10 years

Let's start off with the obvious. His name is Lebron James and he been to the finals for the past 7 straight years. He is the most athletic player in the history of the NBA and the second greatest player of all time. At this point, we are either waiting for Lebron to suck or to head to LA which could very well happen or for him to fall off a cliff (skill wise). Until either of those things happens the Celtics will not make the finals. Some people would say that if Kyrie gets traded then yeah the Celtics could make the finals but I personally don't think Kyrie will get traded. I would love for us to trade Isaiah to the Cavs for Kyrie because he is just a better overall player especially defensively. But that is very unrealistic

Secondly, the Golden State Warriors. They rule the NBA right now. We all know that they are going to win the championship again this year no matter how much we believe that the Timberwolves, Thunder, Spurs, or Rockets will do. Until two of their big four leave, they will make it to the finals. With two MVP's on their team, they are almost impossible to stop in the playoffs because of their fast-paced play and the rate that they make threes. I can see one member of the Warriors leaving though. Klay Thompson was left behind the whole playoffs this year. He is the worst one of the big four so I could see him wanting to get the ball more and leaving in free agency or requesting a trade. Not related but the best spot for him is New Orleans. Until Golden State falls apart no one will really test them for the title especially if Kyrie leaves.

The third reason why the Celtics won't win a championship in the next 10 years is that teams are on the rise. Even if the Warriors fall apart there are still about three other teams in the west that can beat the Celtics. The TImberwolves come to mind first. With Karl Anthony Towns, Andrew Wiggins, and Jimmy Butler they are set up for the future. That is how the Celtics will have to build a team if they want to compete for a championship. In the East, the meteoric rise of the 76ers will be shocking to the entire league. Another team we have to be worried about is the Miami Heat. Now some people might say well they didn't even make the playoffs and while that is true there are a couple things about Miami that are very intriguing. Since 2010 the Heat have attracted great interest in free agents. From the monumental signings of Lebron and Chris Bosh to being in the tough race for Gordon Hayward this offseason. The great weather and no income tax are very alluring to big name players.

The last reason why the Celtics won't win a title in the next 10 years is because of Danny Ainge. Now I love Danny and he has made some great moves over the years including Gordon Hayward this offseason. However, I think that his unwillingness to make moves at the trade deadline this year is a little unnerving. He had trades set up for Paul George and Jimmy Butler. At this rate, the Celtics are going to need to make a big move to get to and compete for a championship. There are many trades to be made and I hope that he makes them and helps the C's get their 18th championship.

My question is, what do you guys think the Celtics need to do to win their next championship. (trade Isaiah for Kyrie?)
