Staff roundtable discussion: Other than the Lakers, which team do you hate to lose to most?

Recently, it's been the Raptors. They're just one of those teams that I think we should be beating consistently, but they just have our number whenever we play. I find their style to be so inefficient, and yet they win all the time.

I agree with Bill here. The Raptors obviously have a lot of talent starting with DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry. But Toronto's style of play seems to go so far against what the rest of the league is doing. Like Bill said, they just seem to have the Celtics' number for some reason, which is annoying. I think that changes this year. (edited)

For me it's the Nets. They're so terrible that a loss is inexcusable, and it hurts Boston's lottery standing as well. Thankfully we've only had to go through two of these instances in the last two seasons.

The Cavs. Losing to Cleveland in recent years has been a stark reminder of how far the Celtics have been from real contention. Plus it comes with a rash of takes in the form of "See, the Celtics aren't actually good—their fans are so annoying and naive."
