Responding to the National media’s poor grades for Celtics

On last week’s CLNS Celtics Roundtable, the guys discussed the Boston Celtics unique and enviable position. Just a few days later, Celtics fans took to twitter and the forums of this very site to react to the national media’s latest round of grades and projections.

Our friends at the Dunc’d On Podcast graded Danny Ainge at a C minus for their off-season moves. Kevin Pelton’s algorithm-based projections charted the C’s at 49.5 wins (how do you win half a game?).

The reactions from Celtics’ fans were not very kind.

Where do you rank the Celtics’ off season? What projected win total do you give the Celts? On today’s Roundtable, the CLNS guys, including yours’ truly, try to stay rational about the low results. Try as we may, it proved to be quite difficult.
